This is it!
Ever since I moved to Canada, WIMO has grown to be an extended family of mine. From my childhood to the present I have also witnessed the church’s growth and God’s plan leading up to this moment.
Growing up, I have witnessed how God moved in our church. From renting out Community Centres, the Wychwood Davenport Presbyterian Church to leasing our own Church Centre in North York. Then expanding our Sunday Worship Services to the Durham and Peel Regions by renting School Gyms and Auditoriums and most recently, the Living Arts Centre. Owning our own building sounded almost impossible. Because of God’s perfect plan and timing, not only do we have our own home now, but we also have a growing family whose bond goes beyond the four walls of the Church.
As one of the Youth Leaders, I have seen how God has moved tremendously in the lives of the church’s next generation. Those who were once shy kids are now young people who are willing to step out in faith and pray for each other and their friends. This goes to show how God is preparing us to be the future leaders of WIMO.
The idea of a new building always excited me. I remember the many times my Dad would pray out loud for the Church to have our own building whenever we drove by Churches across the city. Now it is an answered prayer, a dream come true for all of us. During the renovations I imagined more and more amazing events taking place here, but most importantly a place where our church family can grow not just in number, but also in our faith in Jesus.
I praise God for this wonderful blessing, and for the amazing opportunity, we have to reach more people for the Lord. Thank you to everyone who gave their hearts, prayers, sacrifices and resources to make our dream a reality!

Sister Emily Pelone and Emily Biag. Charity’s Family. The Magno’s family. Bro Edmund and sister Janet. Sister Edith Beronio family, Inday Joesephine and her sister Jo, Sister Mel Iglesia, sis Alice, Brother Jon Panaganiban. Myself, the young and adult growing up are Pastor Buds, Charity, Rizelle, Wesly, the Magno’s sisters n brothers . Those are the family’s I’ve remember in the beginning when I stature to attend WIMO since 2001 spring time, before Pastor Jong came to visit us . Now our family is growing . Some moved to Edmonton like Brother Edgar and sister Malou Gelacio family in Edmonton. God is good all the time . God is been there for us from the very beginning. Philippians 1:6 , says being confident of this, that He who begun a good work in you, will carry it to completion until the days of Christ Jesus. Amen. Hearing Pastor Jong Preaching and sharing last Sunday , I was so blessed and moved that God faithfulness in our lives and in our church family never ends. Joshua 1:9 says, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous . Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged , for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Amen. God is with us at all times. . Truly it is God perfect time to have our own Church Building. Thanks God for His faithfulness and unfailing love to us. And I will end in this verse that always inspired me and so blessed . God promises unto us in Isaiah 41:10 say, so do not fear , for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you ; I will uphold you with my righteous hand. Amen. God bless everyone ❤️ I thanks God for everything that He has done in our church , surely still God greater things that in store in our church and to each and everyone of us still ahead of us. Good day po to everyone ❤️
