Searching for Our Family’s Home
Just like a family our family needs a place we can call our home. It brings stability, becomes a place of ministry and worship, a place where we can fulfill our vision of making disciples. It will also, later on, become a legacy that we will leave behind to the next generation.
Worship Centre Impact

For the members and leaders, this worship centre will be the culmination of long held dreams to have a home for our church. It means a place of worship, a sanctuary to commune with God and to hear His teachings.
It is also a place to celebrate important milestones for the family such as baby dedications, weddings, and funerals. The church therefore becomes a witness to the significant events in a family’s life.
This worship centre is also envisioned to be a centre for community transformation. A place where lives are changed and the future is forged. This worship centre will give Word International the opportunity to expand its ministry programs to the children, youth and young adults.

News & Updates
Ever since I moved to Canada, WIMO has grown to be an extended family of mine. From my childhood to the present I have also witnessed the church’s growth and God’s plan leading up to this moment.
Now is the time to intercede even more in prayer. We are only steps away from using the building so we pray that the Lord will clear our path to get to using our new centre soon. Our renovation team is working hard this week on the security/accessibility requirements to pass inspection and secure our […]
Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for […]
As with most Mondays, mine was off to a slow start. By the time I finished work, I wasn’t looking forward to attending the kids’ school first school meeting for the year. Had I opted out though, I would have missed this reminder from God.
Finally! Milestone after milestone, God has now carried us into the fun phase – renovation has started! Our contractor committed to a mid-January turnover as the latest date. God-willing, maybe we can hold our first Christmas service in the new sanctuary.
Man plans and God laughs. As Pastor Jong pointed out last Sunday, we didn’t rent out the usual school auditorium for the joint Thanksgiving service, as we thought we would celebrate it at our new building. So even the overflow room was full. But so does the list of things of things to be thankful […]
The old walls have been torn down, demolition done. Standing in the middle of the expansive space, one can only feel how big of a favour the Lord has provided us. Finding a contractor that fits our limited budget is a long and hard process. October’s Thanksgiving celebration, the day we hope to worship in the new […]
Surreal it is to finally hear songs of praise resounding in all corners of our new worship centre, as our first prayer meeting was held earlier in July since we acquired the place.
Hello WINONTARIO Members and Friends! Finally, we have completed the purchase of our worship centre! This means that, after so many delays with the closing due to certain regulations and requirements, we can finally walk into 1314 Britannia Road East, in Mississauga and claim it as our new home.
Project David is in full swing now than ever before, since the purchase of our new worship centre has been confirmed. The campaign started when the church first made the bold move to rent the place in Wilson. No longer renting from $500 monthly rent to $3500, it was a testimony of God’s provision and […]
